Message to the communities we serve!!!! 

Based on comments made by Dr. Holmes at the City Commission meeting last evening misinformation was shared on Facebook by a person in the community that has caused confusion regarding Herington Hospital and our ability to provide care due to “no available beds”.  It is absolutely false information that we have no bed availability.  Herington Hospital is prepared to serve our community with healthcare needs, whether COVID related or otherwise.  Our providers in our clinic see patients Monday through Friday and our Emergency Department is staffed with medical personnel and other patient care staff 24/7.  Should the need arise for a patient to be assessed, admitted, transferred, etc. our capable providers and staff will ensure our patients’ needs are met.  Contrary to what may have been reported, Herington Hospital has capacity and the qualified staff to care for our patients.  Should there be any change in status, Herington Hospital will communicate directly with our community via our Website at heringtonhospital.org and on the Herington Hospital Facebook Page.
