Phyllis has served on the Board since 2012 and was elected by the other Board Members to serve as Chairman of the Board in April 2015. Phyllis’ previously work for the Hospital in the Business Office. The combination of her experience working in the Hospital and her commitment to her community make Phyllis an invaluable leader for the Hospital’s governing body.

Leslie Mayes
Leslie was first elected to the Board in 2011. Leslie previously worked at the Hospital in both central supply and as a surgical tech. Leslie’s experience working with patients makes her ideally suited to serve as Patient Advocate on the Board.
Howard Hailey
Howard is currently serving his first term on the Board after being elected in 2014. Howard also represents the Board as an ex-officio officer of the Herington Municipal Hospital Foundation. Howard previously served the community as a member of the School Board.
Edwin Mueller
Ed is currently serving his first term on the Board after being elected in 2014. Ed also represents the Board as an ex-officio officer of the Herington Municipal Hospital Foundation. Ed has also served the community on the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council.
Mike Sullivan
Mike was appointed to the Board in 2017. Mike formerly served on the Board from 2005-2009. Mike is a registered nurse. He also is a former board member of the Herington Housing Authority.
