The Herington Area Health Clinic is transitioning our processes to better serve our patients and meet the new federal requirements.
Starting Monday, March 12, 2018, the Herington Area Health Clinic will offer same day appointments in lieu of walk-in hours for those patients who are experiencing urgent symptoms (i.e. flu-like symptoms).
Same-day appointments are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. These same day appointments will be offered to patients who have already established a relationship with the Herington Area Health Clinic. For new patients who have not been seen before in the HMH Rural Health Clinic, they will be asked to pick up a new patient packet from the clinic and schedule a new patient appointment before you are eligible to utilize a same day appointment.
If you need to be seen on an urgent or emergency basis, HMH’s Emergency Services can assist you.
