Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

Seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to assist our administrative team.  The applicant should be organized, efficient, and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office.  The ability to multitask and possess high attention to detail is a must.  Confidentiality of sensitive information is highly important for this role.  Starting pay will be based on experience.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • HR and Payroll duties as delegated.
  • Financial reconciliation and reimbursement tracking.
  • Recording and preserving administrative and management meeting minutes.
  • Other administrative and medical staff duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Associate’s degree in business is preferred but not required.
  • Clinical knowledge preferred but not required

 

Patient Care Technician (PCT)

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for assisting the nursing and receptionist staff with welcoming, rooming and assisting patients with their health care needs. Is trained and performs vitals and point of care testing as ordered by the provider. The PCT works under the supervision of the nurse, medical assistant, provider, and clinic leadership for clinic patients.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Obtains, verifies and records health history of patients.
  • Gathers pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
  • Sets up and clean up rooms between patients.
  • Rooms patients and gathers and records necessary vitals.
  • Properly enters patient information in the EMR.
  • Keeps clinic stocked with all supplies (lab, medical, pharmacy, laundry).
  • Files progress notes, lab results and any correspondence, etc. in-patient charts electronically via EMR.
  • Regularly monitors patients as appropriate to promote wellness and health maintenance including preventative and chronic care.
  • Manage daily clinic flow for provider’s clinic and act as liaison between all medical disciplines for optimal patient care.
  • Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Radiologic Technologist

$5000 sign on bonus!

Seeking a full time Radiologic Technologist to work at our hospital in Herington. Must be willing to share in the call coverage rotation. Flexible schedules allow employees to prioritize family commitments.

CT experience preferred, but not required. Applicant must be ARRT registered or registry eligible and have a valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of Kansas. We are a small, rural hospital with an emphasis on providing quality, compassionate care for our patients.

Speech Language Pathologist

Work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create, implement and adjust treatment plans to address the individualized needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Communicate patient progress to appropriate parties including patients, families, teachers and medical providers.
  • Provide training and education about speech disorders, causes and disabilities to family/caregivers and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
  • Reviews treatment plan, and if needed, modifies or writes new programs.
  • Maintains records as required by law and administrative regulations.
  • Must possess Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology
  • Must be designated as a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist and eligible to practice in the state of Kansas.

Job Description: (includes)

  • Evaluates task performance skills, plans and implements programs designed to restore the outpatient, acute, and swing bed patients’ abilities.
  • Educates the patient and others regarding occupational therapy treatment procedures.
  • Documents patient treatment and progress for third party payers.
  • Provides consultation to physicians and others regarding appropriateness of referral to occupational therapy.
  • Provides direct supervision of support personnel and students.
  • Must be designated as a Licensed Occupational Therapist by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
