Maintain supplies and equipment. Demonstrate safety practices as related to phlebotomy. Assist with clerical work including getting lab results to providers. Applicant should be a strong team player and problem solver.
Full time opening for an experienced Hospital Biller. Job duties will include: Billing claims for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Work Comp, and Private Insurances, Data Entry, Accounts Receivable Reconciliation, Medical Records Requests, Filing and other departmental duties. Candidate should be proficient in computer and keyboarding skills, possess organizational and efficiency skills, and work as a team player. Benefit package and rate of pay ranging from $15.00-$17.00 per hour depending on experience.
Certified Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist (MLT/MT)
Full time Certified Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist to work as a generalist in all areas of the lab. Job responsibilities include: perform routine and STAT laboratory testing, instrument maintenance and trouble shooting, quality control testing and calibrations, specimen collection by venipuncture, finger stick or other method on all ages of patients. Weeknight and weekend call is required. Applicant should be a strong team player and problem solver.

Acute Registered Nurse (RN)
Full time openings for day (4a-4p) and night (4p-4a) shifts. Previous inpatient hospital setting is preferred.
Assess the needs and priorities of patients and makes appropriate patient assignments to ensure a high level of care. Renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. Provides for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments and administering prescribed drugs and documenting progress and other observations. Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
*Requirements include current RN licensure in the State of Kansas, CPR certified, ACLS & PALS.
Emergency Room Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN/NP)
Seeking PA or APRN/NP for Emergency Room services in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Northeast Kansas. Candidate must have previous experience in ER and be willing to see patients on an as needed basis in our Rural Health Clinic. We offer a flexible schedule with competitive pay and benefits.
Revenue Cycle Manager
This position is responsible for strategic alignment, management, and daily oversight of the organization’s revenue cycle functions including patient access, patient billing (including claims production), health information management (including coding), insurance follow-up, self-pay collections, cash receipts/adjustments (including administrative, bad debts, and charity care), compliance with third party payer regulations, insurance verification and provider enrollment/credentialing. The success of this position will be measured by improvement in key revenue cycle indicators such as: A/R days – gross, cash collections, bad debt expense percentage and provision for charity care percentage, denial percentage, and percentage of accounts over ninety (90) days old.
This individual should have comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle operations, either from a provider or payer perspective, with particular experience in performance improvement identification/implementation and monitoring controls. This position is responsible for personnel development, implementing and maintaining department policies and procedures, and initiating disciplinary action according to policy. This position ensures that the highest standards for the protection of confidential information which includes the security and integrity of the electronic health records.
This position also serves as the Chief Privacy Officer who oversees all activities including the development, implementation, and maintenance of all policy and procedures to assure compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Administers and directs all functions of the facility. Assigns department heads and delegates appropriate work throughout the facility to such individuals. Informs the Board of Trustees and Foundation Board appropriately of functions within the facility and reports at least on a monthly basis. Oversees all functions throughout the facility and is responsible for the proper day-to-day management
3-5 year in previous administrative position; Preferably in the healthcare setting

Registered Radiologic Technologist
Full time opening for a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Schedule is 4 days, 36 hours per week. Must be able to take shared call. Outline of Job Duties includes: general radiography, CT, venipuncture, bone densitometry, EKG, holter and event monitoring, stress testing, and assisting in diagnostic procedures. CT experience is preferred, but not required.
Performs various types of diagnostic x-ray procedures; adjusts x-ray equipment settings; determines proper voltage and exposure; positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examinations utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.
*Requirements include current Radiography licensure in the State of Kansas and ARRT registered or registry eligible.
